We’re Apollonia & Ken; Oregon Coast locals who love making candles.

Our business is inspired by family, friends, community and culture. We came up with the name Jumi Lumi Candlez by using the first two letters of our children’s names:
Julia, Mia, Luke, Miles and Ezekiel.

Apollonia is a member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians with Scottish, Irish, Indigenous Mexican & Yucatán ancestry.

Ken is a Pacific Northwest Surfer who was born in the Philippines. He came to America as a child along with his Mother and siblings to work towards a better life.

Together, Apollonia & Ken enjoy life in the Pacific Northwest along with their kids, family, friends and community. Candle making has become a very fulfilling experience and the demand for Jumi Lumi Candlez are growing.
